Tyler's First Day at Harding Fine Arts Academy

Tyler has been home schooled his whole life, but today he started his freshman year at Harding Fine Arts Academy.  Harding Fine Arts Academy is a college preparatory high school focused on the integration of arts and academics.  He has been playing the guitar now for over 2 years and plays in our youth band at church.  He has received extensive instruction from his grandpa who has played music his whole life.  As of now, his plans are to become a christian worship leader/musician.  He has been inspired by Christian music artist Lincoln Brewster.  Lincoln gave Tyler a custom made Fender Stratocaster guitar.  We become friends with Lincoln and his mom Cheryl last Christmas.

This academy will possibly open up doors for Tyler he couldn't ever get by attending a normal public high school.  This school is very impressive.  The instructors are professionals in their fields.  Many of the instructors have doctorates.  He will get advanced instruction in guitar, vocals and contemporary dance.  He's pretty excited about this opportunity.
