Team In Training - Week 14
I finally got me a pair of real running shoes. Not sure why I waited so long. The proper running shoes make all the difference. They don't soak up sweat and weigh you down. These are able to breath and keep my feet dry. The proper socks help as well. I missed the group run Saturday morning so I took my bike back to lake Hefner and rode around it 3 times. I round 31 miles. This is the farthest I've ridden so far. My back side is still not quite used to the saddle yet. I have padded bike shorts and even bought a seat cover. I don't have any padding on my butt so it gets sore pretty quick. Been running 4 1/2 to 5 miles during lunch a few times a week. The other days I swim and weight train. I am feeling great.
