Team In Training - Week 12

I'm over half way there to race day. It gets a bit easier each week. This last week was a good week. I swam another mile, ran a total of 12 miles, rode the stationary bike and did more weight training. It was very humid on Saturday so I didn't run as long as I wanted to. I started trying some different flavors of the sports gels. It pretty much is goo in your mouth. Drink with lots of water. I finally bought a proper running outfit. Yes, it did keep the sweat away from my skin but by the time I was finished running Saturday morning, you could have rung out a gallow of sweat from the shirt and shorts. It was crazy humid, even at 6:30 in the morning. With August starting this week it's only going to get more humid. Fortunately, the triathlon is mid September, so I hope we are past the really humid days by then
