Serving the Community

We had another successful evening serving our community.  We handed out 120 food boxes along with bread, eggs, juice, cheese, ice cream and bleach tonight.  The process gets smoother and smoother every week.  It's gotten easier with the donation of two conveyors on wheels.  We have a great time of food and fellowship each week while we spread the love of Christ to families in our community.  Here are a few pictures from this evening.

Here's my daughter Serenity helping put out the last few items.

Here's my wife Jennifer putting out a few last items.  The foyer is the staging are before putting them on the conveyor and sending them out the front door.

We set tables up outside to hold the eggs and ice chests to hold the milk, juice, butter and other items.  We get the boxes lined up on the conveyor while folks get in their cars and line up as their names are called from within the sanctuary.

They present Charlie there in front with their ticket as to how many boxes they are picking up.  We grab boxes off the conveyor while kids perform the running of the eggs, juice and other small items to their cars.

We have a pretty good system going now.  We are truly the Hands and Feet of Christ.
