Language Exchange - Week 2

Tonight we broke up into our groups.  There are more people that know English than Spanish so the ratio of English to Spanish was about 4 to 1.  Alex and Laura, who both speak Spanish and are leading the class, each led a group.  We spent the majority of the class only speaking in Spanish.  The best way to learn it is to just immerse yourself in it.  So that's what we are doing.  Through the week we have homework to do as well as trying to listen to something in Spanish for at least an hour a day.

Taking Spanish in high school was pretty much a joke.  Of course, you got out of it what you put into it.  I didn't come away from it having learned much Spanish.  So far this class is turning out to be really educational.  I'm looking forward to next week.
