My First Marathon

Well, I did it.  I completed my first full marathon.  Tyler and Serenity jumped out there to cross the finish line with me.  The timer says 7:02 but their website said 6:49.  Either way, it was a along day.  The race was delayed almost 3 hours due to severe weather.  On top of that, it turned hot, humid and very windy.  In my opinion, this was more physically demanding than having done the half Redman triathlon.  I don't know that I'll do another full marathon again until I've done several half marathons.  All in all, I really enjoyed doing it.  Sure you experience just about every emotion while doing it, but the range of emotions you feel when crossing that finish line is all worth it.
