The Shack

I received this book a few years ago for Christmas.  I finally read it last week.  Having lost our first son at birth (see the My Testimony tab at the top of the page) I wish I had known about this book 10 years ago.  This book follows the life of Machenzie Phillips and how he deals with the loss of his daughter Missy.  Mack receives a mysterious message from God asking him to return to the scene of the crime.  Not knowing what he would find when returning, he ends up spending the weekend with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Anyone who has ever lost a child should read this book.  This book could also change the way you see the world, humanity and relationships you have with others.
