Williams Route 66 Marathon
This next weekend I will be competing in my 3rd endurance event since joining the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program in 2013. I will be running the half marathon in the Williams Route 66 Marathon in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The temperature will be just above freezing at the start of the marathon. I hope to finish in just over 2 hours. I have not only been able to improve my overall health and endurance but I have raised over $3500 since I began. This money provides lifesaving research for patients.
LLS is dear to my wife and I because our son Tyler is a Leukemia survivor. I have made many new friends and heard many amazing stories of hope and survival. If you would like to make a donation, it's not too late. Your donation is tax-deductible and you can remain anonymous. Help us find a cure for blood cancers. Your donation not only funds research but it helps support families affected by it.
