Community of Hope's 3rd Anniversary

This last Wednesday night was the 3rd anniversary of our Community of Hope clinic.  Through the grace of God and doctors, nurses, pharmacists, technicians and church members volunteering their time, we have been able to provide free medical care, prescriptions and God's love to people in our community.  Our church teaches that just hearing the spoken Word is not enough.  Christ not only preached and taught where he went, he touched people.  Just hearing the spoken Word as a Christian is not enough.  Faith without works is dead.  If you truly have faith, you will want to get out and touch people as Christ did.  This is what we are trying to do.

We are ministering to people through our monthly medial clinic and our weekly close closet and food distribution.  We also partner with other area churches and go to downtown OKC once a month and feed the homeless.  Our church also opens up it's facilities to local area groups for their use by request.  I'm grateful to be part of a body of believers that don't just believe you can accept Christ as your savior and that's it.  It takes more than that if your relationship with Christ is genuine.
